There isn't any in-game time ATM

If it's 7 hours over one session then no, if its 7 hours over lots of sessions then no, it should be like 5 minutes either way...

Nah, just make the time shorter, the fact that animals have growth cycles is great, it would make the game a little more quaint and curious.

This is a great idea and i like the thought of little spiders being your pets. But i think you should make the life cycle more like 2 hours at the max. And would the spiders that you tamed at birth would they always be tame or would they grow up and begin the hunger for some block-character face?

Would you need to feed it regularly? And would it fight for you? 7 hours is long, by the way. Oh yeah, it kinda annoys me every time you say 'I'll change it', because it's not really your choice, it's the devs' choice. It's frustrating...

I don't fight, so I will back off, but not like a wimp, simply because fighting and arguing over the internet is not on my life goal list. However, I still think it's a good idea. I'd love to have a pet spider.
